Account Assistant

Job Title: Assistant Accountant Company: Bapat Constructions Pvt. Ltd. Location: Wagle Estate, Thane (Only Thane-based candidates preferred) Job Type: Full-Time Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM Salary: ₹18,000 to 22,000 per month (based on experience) Reporting To: CFO About Us: Bapat Constructions Pvt. We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our core team and assist in day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily accounting entries in Tally Maintain records of sales, purchase, expenses, petty cash Prepare GST and TDS returns and assist in timely compliance Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers Generate monthly reports and assist in MIS and audit preparation Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for invoice and payment follow-ups Assist in payroll processing and statutory filings Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com, BAF, or equivalent) 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting preferred Proficient in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel Basic working knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting compliance Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must be based in Thane (applications from other locations will not be considered) Preferred: Experience in a construction company or CA firm Knowledge of additional tools like SAP/Winman is a plus Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period What We Offer: Opportunity to grow with a stable and ethical company Work-life balance with fixed working hours Exposure to full-spectrum accounting and audit processes How to Apply: Send your updated resume to office.bapatconstructions@gmail.com with the subject line: 📩 “Application for Assistant Accountant – Thane” Show more Show less
