Accessibility Tester

Job Description Job Summary: As an Accessibility ADA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hardware products meet accessibility standards and guidelines, particularly those outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify accessibility issues and recommend solutions that enhance the usability of our products for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 7+ years of accessibility testing experience
• Thorough WCAG standards knowledge
• Experience with accessibility testing on both web and mobile platforms
• Expertise with assistive technologies like JAWSNVDAVoiceover/Talkback/Colour Contract Analyzer Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accessibility, usability, or related fields, with a strong focus on hardware accessibility.
• In-depth knowledge of ADA compliance, WCAG guidelines, and other relevant accessibility standards.
• Experience conducting accessibility assessments and usability testing with users who have disabilities.
• Strong understanding of hardware design principles and the ability to evaluate products from an accessibility perspective.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and how they interact with hardware products.
• Relevant certifications in accessibility (e.g., Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), Certified Accessibility Specialist (CAS), etc.) are a plus
