Academic Head

As the Academic Head at the Education Branch of Analytus Group i.e. Accentrex Global, your role will involve leading the academic operations of the institution. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of admissions, academic delivery, faculty hiring, student outcomes, and assessments. Your proactive leadership will be crucial in driving academic excellence while meeting institutional targets. Key Responsibilities: - Academic Leadership - Oversee curriculum planning, timetabling, and academic calendar management. - Ensure academic quality and compliance with regulatory/affiliating body standards. - Supervise faculty performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide mentorship. - Admissions & Target Achievement - Collaborate with marketing and counseling teams to meet annual student intake targets. - Monitor inquiry-to-admission conversion and enhance admission strategies. - Organize orientation programs and student onboarding activities. - Hiring & Team Management - Recruit and onboard qualified teaching and non-teaching academic staff. - Set KPIs for academic staff and evaluate their performance. - Conduct regular training and faculty development programs. - Examination & Assessment - Act as Controller of Examinations: - Ensure timely scheduling and smooth conduct of internal/external exams. - Oversee paper setting, evaluation, and result processing. - Maintain integrity and confidentiality of examination procedures. - Operations & Reporting - Ensure timely academic reporting to internal management and external authorities. - Prepare MIS reports related to academic delivery, admissions, and results. - Lead institutional audits and ensure documentation readiness. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors / Masters Degree - Experience: 5-10 years of experience in academic administration; prior leadership experience is essential. Skills: - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. - Target-oriented mindset with exposure to student recruitment. - Knowledge of examination processes and academic regulations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. Preferred Background: - Prior experience in managing academic operations in colleges, universities, or vocational education institutions. Please note that the salary for this position ranges from 5 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs with an additional incentive of 1-5% of total sales.,
