Position Overview As an Academic Counselor, you will collaborate with students to help them achieve their educational objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass advising on course selection, academic planning, career guidance, and providing support to enhance students' academic performance and personal development. Key Responsibilities Academic Advising: Assist students in course selection, academic planning, and ensuring they meet graduation requirements. Career Guidance: Provide advice on career options and pathways related to students' fields of study. Support Services: Identify and address academic and personal challenges that may affect students' educational progress. Resource Connection: Connect students with resources for tutoring, mental health support, and extracurricular activities. Monitoring Progress: Keep track of students' academic performance and intervene when necessary to provide additional support. Workshops and Seminars: Develop and deliver workshops on academic success strategies, time management, and study skills. Collaboration: Work with faculty, staff, and parents to support student success and retention. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and advising sessions. Orientation Programs: Participate in orientation programs to help students transition into academic life. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
