Academic Counsellor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Academic Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting prospective students and persuading them to enroll in our courses. You will provide them with all the relevant details, answer their queries, and guide them through the admission process.

Responsibilities:

Contact prospective students via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.

Provide detailed information about the courses, including schedules, fees, curriculum, and career prospects.

Understand the needs and aspirations of prospective students and recommend suitable courses.

Assist students in completing the admission process, including registration, documentation, and fee payment.

Follow up with students who have shown interest but haven't yet enrolled.

Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints from students and provide prompt resolutions.

Maintain accurate records of all communication and interactions with students.

Gather feedback from students regarding their experience and satisfaction with the courses.

Provide ongoing support to students throughout their course duration, addressing their queries and concerns.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth admission and student onboarding processes.

Meet or exceed monthly targets for student enrollment and conversion.

Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and advancements in the courses we offer.

Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Proven experience as an academic counsellor, sales representative, or customer service role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.

Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with students.

Familiarity with the admission process and documentation requirements.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
