Job Summary:

The Academic Associate will assist faculty members in teaching, research, academic

coordination, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for candidates considering a career in

academia, research, or higher education administration. The position provides exposure to

academic operations, research methodologies, and curriculum development. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Support

● Assist faculty with course preparation, content creation, grading, and class coordination. ● Support classroom and online teaching activities (e.g., presentations, discussions, breakout sessions).

● Maintain course materials, readings, and student records on LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas). Research Assistance

● Conduct literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, and report drafting.

● Assist with research project management, including timelines, documentation, and grant-related tasks.

● Help prepare manuscripts, presentations, and conference submissions. Academic Administration

● Coordinate academic events (e.g., seminars, workshops, guest lectures).

● Communicate with students regarding academic queries, schedules, and resources.

● Assist in curriculum development and program evaluation processes.

Other Duties

● Prepare and manage documentation for accreditation or institutional reviews.

● Maintain academic calendars, databases, and filing systems.

● Provide support in student mentoring or academic advising, if required. Qualifications:

Education:

● Bachelor's/Master's degree in [relevant field, e.g., Management, Economics, Engineering, Education, etc.]. Skills & Experience:

● Strong academic record and interest in research/teaching.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Proficiency in MS Office, data tools (Excel, SPSS, R, or Python preferred), and learning

management systems.

● Experience with academic writing, referencing tools (e.g., Zotero, EndNote), and data

analysis is a plus. Desirable Attributes:

● Attention to detail and time management skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
