Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Andheri East, MIDC Mumbai, India, for an Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor will provide guidance and support to students regarding their academic and career paths. Key daily responsibilities include counseling students, assisting with educational planning, delivering tailored academic advice, and helping students navigate their educational opportunities and challenges. The advisor will also collaborate with faculty and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Strong Communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and faculty
• Experience in Academic Advising with knowledge of educational planning strategies
• Understanding of the Education sector and its trends
• Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Previous experience in a similar advisory or counseling role is preferred
