Academic Advisor

As an Academic Advisor at our company, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by directly working with teachers and schools to ensure effective implementation of our system to achieve desired learning outcomes. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to democratizing quality teaching tools and techniques to students and teachers in affordable private schools. Key Responsibilities: - Build capacity by training and coaching School leaders, Academic coordinators, and teachers in LEAD partner schools to drive implementation of the LEAD academic system that delivers excellent student outcomes. - Support and monitor LEAD School academic system execution in partner schools through regular observations and data-driven conversations. - Share insightful and meaningful reports at regular intervals to showcase student and teacher performance, and interventions that are being carried out. - Develop and implement retention strategies to build lasting relationships with school owners, principals, academic coordinators, and teachers and ensure continued partnership and growth. - Collaborate with other functions in the organization to effectively solve problems that hamper partner schools" experience with LEAD. - Proactively gather insights from the field and feed them back internally to improve the LEAD academic system. - Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating with large and diverse teams. - Strong training and facilitation experience in Pedagogy and Curriculum implementation. Ideal Experience Profile: - Education - Any Bachelor's degree (B.Ed, M.Ed preferable). - 3 years in an academic support and teacher training role, OR 3-5 years of K-10 teaching experience (Teacher, Principals, Academic coordinator), OR 1-2 years of fellowship experience (e.g. Teach For India) and 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience. - 2+ years of experience managing teacher teams. - EdTech or SchoolTech industry background in academic operations/ academic consultant roles. - Ability and flexibility to travel 15-20 days a month.,
