Academic Advisor

1. Admission Targets:

• Achieve the admission targets as allocated.
• Track leads and maintain accurate records of follow-ups and conversions using CRM tools.
• Regularly report progress against targets to management.
• Work proactively to convert enquiries into admissions through calls, meetings, and online sessions.

2. Counselling & Student Support:

• Provide one-on-one counselling to prospective students and parents regarding courses, career options, and admission procedures.
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
• Guide students throughout the admission process including application, documentation, and fee payment.

3. Lead Management & Outreach:

• Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, and walk-ins.
• Attend and participate in education fairs, school visits, and seminars to promote programs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

4. Team Collaboration & Training:

• Mentor and guide junior counsellors in effective counselling and sales techniques.
• Share market insights and competitor trends with the team.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all counselling sessions, student profiles, and lead status updates.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on lead status, follow-ups, and admissions.
• Ensure all admission documentation is complete and compliant with institutional policies.

6. Customer Experience:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
• Provide high-quality service and ensure a positive counselling experience.
• Handle queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
