Position Title: 3D Design Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat (Gujarat, India)

Industry: Industrial Air Filtration, Dust Collection, and Pollution Control Equipment

Employment Type: Full-time | Onsite

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Design Engineer with deep expertise in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks, preferably with prior experience in the dust collection, air pollution control, or industrial ventilation systems domain. The ideal candidate will lead the standardization and 3D modeling of the company’s entire product portfolio, ensuring design consistency, manufacturability, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain parametric 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for all product lines using Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Lead the standardization of components and assemblies across product families such as bag filters, scrubbers, cyclones, and pneumatic conveying systems.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Automation teams to ensure seamless integration of design outputs into manufacturing workflows.
• Create and manage a centralized design library with standardized parts, BOMs, and revision control.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in 3D design within the dust collection, air pollution control, or industrial equipment manufacturing sectors.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal design, weldments, fabrication processes, and GD&T.
• Experience in design standardization, modularization, and BOM generation.
