3D Design Engineer

As a 3D Design Engineer / Industrial Designer at Visual Citi Inc., your role will involve creating detailed shop drawings and engineering drawings primarily using SolidWorks and/or Rhino. You will be responsible for developing high-quality rendering presentations and preparing production files for fabrication. Collaboration with project managers, production teams, and clients to deliver innovative solutions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will participate in design development and value-engineering exercises to optimize cost, materials, and manufacturing processes. Support for prototyping, testing, and on-site implementation may also be required to ensure design outputs align with brand guidelines, manufacturing capabilities, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed shop drawings and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and/or Rhino. - Develop high-quality rendering presentations, preferably with experience in KeyShot. - Prepare and issue production files for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. - Extract and compile Bills of Materials (BoM) and other supporting documentation. - Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to deliver innovative solutions. - Participate in design development and value-engineering exercises to optimize cost, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Support prototyping, testing, and on-site implementation when necessary. - Ensure design outputs align with brand guidelines, manufacturing capabilities, and project timelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. - 3-5 years of professional experience designing for retail fixtures, furniture, exhibition stands, displays, or similar environments. - Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Rhino for 3D modeling and technical drawings is a MUST. - Working knowledge of KeyShot, SketchUp, or other relevant visualization and drafting tools is an advantage. - Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, acrylics, plastics), finishes, and fabrication methods. - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, production-ready documentation. - Experience generating Bills of Materials, cut lists, and assembly instructions. - Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving requirements. - Good communication skills and the ability to clearly present design solutions. - Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies. - Excellent communication in English, time management skills, and adaptability to fast-paced environments with strong ethical conduct.,
