Role Description

talented and versatile 2D Artist

As a Concept Artist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality concept art that serves as a visual guide for 3D artists. This includes characters, environments, props, and other game assets. You will also contribute to research, ideation, and visual storytelling, helping bring creative visions to life.

The role also requires a strong foundation in 2D game art, including UI/UX design, game cover art, and other visual elements essential for game development. You will work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure a cohesive and compelling visual experience.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed concept art for characters, environments, and assets to guide 3D modelers
• Conduct visual research to support design direction and artistic consistency
• Design UI/UX elements and other 2D assets for in-game interfaces
• Create game cover art, promotional visuals, and other 2D artworks as needed throughout development
• Develop storyboards and visual narratives to support gameplay or cutscenes
• Collaborate closely with 3D artists, designers, and other team members to maintain visual consistency
• Support the art team with any creative or visual development tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in 2D art, including character design, environment design, and props
• Proven experience in concept art creation for games and animation
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software used for creating art from scratch
• Understanding of 3D pipelines and ability to design with 3D modeling in mind
• Basic working knowledge of Blender or similar tool (or willingness to learn)
• Experience with UI/UX design for games
• Skilled in storyboarding and visual storytelling
• Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Game Development, or a related field is a plus
• Prior experience in the gaming industry is a plus
