Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Boiler Operation: Operate and monitor briquette-fired boilers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Adjust fuel feed rates and combustion air to maintain desired pressure and temperature. Monitor and control water levels, steam pressure, and temperature parameters. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems and related equipment. Identify and rectify faults in the boiler and associated systems. Maintain cleanliness of the boiler room and associated equipment. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety checks on pressure relief valves, safety valves, and other critical components. Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks Fuel Management: Manage the storage and handling of biomass briquettes. Ensure consistent and efficient feeding of briquettes into the boiler. Monitor fuel consumption and report discrepancies. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of boiler operations, including fuel consumption, water treatment, and maintenance activities. Report any abnormalities or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical certification in Boiler Operation preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating briquette-fired boilers or similar systems. Certifications: Valid Boiler Operator License (First or Second Class) as per Indian Boiler Regulations. Show more Show less
