Job Description

Mandatory Requirements: Zuora Revenue Software Experience: Extensive experience in Zuora Revenue software is mandatory. Zuora Revenue Certification: Certification in Zuora Revenue is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications: Accounting Background: CPA preferred but not mandatory. An accounting background is preferred. Skills and Experience: Implementations / Customizations: Experience in implementations and customizations to support a techno-functional role. Alternative Skills: Experience in Zuora Billing, Zuora Collect, or Zuora CPQ is also acceptable. Client Interaction: The role involves frequent client interaction and is client-facing. Job Description- Zuora Revenue Consultant Skillset Technical Skills: Zuora Revenue Expertise: Deep understanding of Zuora Revenue functionalities and modules. Experience with Zuora Revenue implementation, configuration, and customization. Proficiency in setting up and managing revenue recognition rules, policies, and schedules. ERP and Financial Systems: Knowledge of ERP and billing systems (e.g. Zone Advanced Billing, NetSuite) and their integration with Zuora Revenue. Familiarity with lead to cash Process, financial processes, including general ledger and accounts receivable Data Management and integration: Strong skills in data migration, data mapping, and data validation. Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL processes, iPaaS/Connectors/Point to Point). Reporting and Analytics: Ability to design and generate financial reports and dashboards using Zuora Revenue. Functional Skills: Revenue Recognition: In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606, IFRS 15). Ability to translate complex revenue recognition requirements into system configurations. Business Process Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess current business processes and identify areas for improvement. Experience in documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications. Project Management: Proven track record of managing end-to-end implementation projects. Ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). Soft Skills: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address implementation challenges and system issues. Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certifications Certifications: Zuora Revenue certification Experience: Industry Experience: Experience in industries with complex revenue recognition requirements (e.g., SaaS, telecommunications). Understanding of industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
