Sr Solutions Architect – Zscaler

Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Client Connector

(ZCC), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), V-ZENS and P-ZENS,

Recommended not required: Splunk, IaC (Ansible, Terraform), SolarWinds, Wireshark

• Sr Solutions Architect specializing in the design, implementation and support of zero-trust access security solutions utilizing Zscaler technology platform
• Responsible for building, testing, and implementing network security solutions within the organization's IT network (On Prem & Cloud)
• Maintain a thorough understanding of complex network and IT systems staying up to date with the latest security standards and authentication protocols
• Design, deploy and support Zscaler platform components (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), V-ZENS and P-ZENS) to meet business needs.
• Identify requirements, design, document, and implement scalable enterprise-level zero-trust security solutions utilizing various Zscaler platform solutions
• Responsible for creating and maintaining ZIA proxy policies like URL filtering, Malware and file control for users.
• Administer and maintain Zscaler PAC files and supporting services according to application requirements. Act as subject matter expert in troubleshooting network access issues providing technical leadership on outage bridges for high priority incidents
• Work with the Zscaler vendor to resolve complex issues and understand product roadmap and features
• Document security solutions development and maintain as-built drawings and diagrams
• Architectural Leadership: Contribute to all aspects of architectural activities for the technology domain, managing the development of solution architectures specifically for Zscaler implementations within projects or programs.
• Zscaler Architecture Patterns: Create architecture patterns that optimize the use of Zscaler solutions to support holistic solution architecture design across the organization.

Education

• 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
• Accreditation/Certification/Licenses:
• Preferred candidates possess industry related or Zscaler certification: CISSP or ZOCA, ZCCP, ZCTA
• Preferred candidates possess:
• Strong technical leadership with a solution-focused mind-set
• Understanding/working experience with Agile Methodology is a plus
