Zonal Vice President - Sales (South)

As the ZVP-Sales for the South Zone in the FMCG/Beverages industry with 15-18 years of experience, your responsibility will be to oversee sales operations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, and Kerala. Reporting to the VP-Sales, you will be leading a team consisting of Cluster Business Heads, Business Managers, Business Heads, and support teams across regional offices. Your key responsibilities include team management, where you will lead, motivate, and manage the performance of your team members by providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure the team's success. Driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the zone is crucial, requiring you to monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and take corrective actions as needed. A deep understanding of the local market is essential, including consumer behavior, competitor activities, and distribution channels. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers in the zone is paramount to success. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, in addition to managing the sales budget and ensuring efficient resource allocation within the zone. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in sales leadership within the FMCG industry, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the capability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
