Zonal Manager

Position: Zonal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage DT Meter installation, maintenance, and operations across the Punjab zone.
• The Zonal Manager will be responsible for managing 48 field teams across the Punjab

zone.

• Each team will consist of 3 members: Technician, Assistant Technician, Helper.
• Ensure all metering activities installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting are completed within defined timelines.
• Lead, supervise, and support field teams including Technicians, Assistant Technicians, and Helpers.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and productivity for all sites under the zone.
• Coordinate with DISCOM officials, vendors, and internal project teams for smooth execution of activities.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly zone reports and present operational updates to senior management.
• Identify on-ground challenges and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and statutory requirements during all field operations.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of zonal field staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

• B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic or a relevant field.
• Strong technical knowledge of DT meters, LT/HT systems, energy metering, installation & troubleshooting.
• Good team handling and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple sites simultaneously.
