Zonal Manager (2nd Line)

You will be responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company based in Kolkata, focusing on gastroenterology, surgery, gynecology, and general medicine. Your role will involve overseeing the sales process and operations, analyzing business potential, and developing strategies to drive sales and meet revenue goals. Key responsibilities include identifying and developing new market segments, establishing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, and building partnerships with doctors and hospitals. You will be tasked with enhancing individual and team productivity by tracking sales performance, providing coaching for improvement, and motivating team members to achieve their targets. Additionally, you will need to ensure that marketing campaigns and activities are effectively utilized to maximize their impact. This will involve collaborating on various promotional activities, events, and initiatives such as MC OPD marketing campaigns and RTM/CME activities. Regular travel to different locations will be required to gain a real-time understanding of operations, address key issues, and take timely actions. As a Zonal Sales Manager, you must work in the field at least five days a week, leading by example and keeping the head office informed of all relevant developments. You should have prior experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with the ability to handle sales pressure and meet targets consistently. This is a full-time position based in Kolkata, with benefits including Provident Fund. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 1 year as a Second Line Manager and 2 years as a First Line Manager.
