Zonal Lead- Legal Claims

• Leading position as to get the delivery of legal expertise to the legal claims function, ensuring effective management of motor third party litigation. Able to drive resources towards target achievement, motivation, effective and timely productivity.

Responsibilities

1. Depth command, expertise & understanding with Motor third-party litigation;
2. Understanding with difference Court trends, geographical locations, challenges wrt Motor TP Cases;
3. Able to lead the Zonal Legal Teams and ensure timely delivery, managing of overall TP litigation, effective contest of the defence cases, timely initiatives as to settle cases through mediation etc.;
4. Planning, managing and allocating resources as to ensure TP related and other assigned litigation management and handling;
5. Able to drive team as team leader, while ensuring harmony within the team, target achievement, maintenance of ticket-size;
6. Strong hold on the latest rulings of various High Courts, Supreme Court in view to provide appropriate guidance to the assigned team; overall investigation management in relation to TP cases;
7. Good command over insurance laws, motor third party claims, workmen cases; consumer litigation, executions, recovery, appeal cases etc.
8. Assistance to Head – Legal Claims for overall management of legal claims function;
9. Miscellaneous tasks, responsibilities, special projects as assigned from time to time.
10. Able to travel to the locations on short notice.
