Job Description: Zonal Head Sales (Retail Footwear) Job Title: Zonal Head Sales Department: Retail Operations Location: Head Office, Vijayawada Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Head – Sales to oversee and drive the performance of our nationwide network of 72+ footwear retail stores. The ZM will support the General Manager in strategic planning, sales execution, team development, and operational excellence across multiple regions. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines field management with strategic decision-making to ensure consistent growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Performance Management Support the GM in defining and executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for all stores and take corrective actions where needed. Develop and implement region-specific promotional plans, seasonal campaigns, and upselling strategies. Track KPIs such as footfall conversion, average transaction value, UPT (units per transaction), and inventory turnover. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and mentor Area Managers and Store Managers. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-ground support to improve team efficiency. Identify talent within the organization and support succession planning and internal promotions. Lead staff training initiatives in sales techniques, customer experience, and product knowledge. Retail Operations Oversight Ensure all stores are aligned with brand standards in terms of visual merchandising, store hygiene, and service quality. Monitor adherence to SOPs (standard operating procedures) and retail operating guidelines. Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams to optimize stock allocation and inventory turnover. Financial & Business Reporting Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense control for retail operations. Analyze profitability at the store and region level and implement measures to maximize margins. Support audit and compliance processes across the retail network. Business Expansion & New Store Launches Assist in planning and executing new store launches, including manpower planning, training, and opening readiness. Work with real estate and projects teams for store feasibility and setup. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. 8–12 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 3–5 years in a regional/multi-store leadership role. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills. Proven track record of driving sales growth in a retail chain environment. Experience in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred. Willingness to travel extensively and work across geographies.
