Zonal Head Sales

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

• Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for the region.
  
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales plans.
  

2. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and channel partners.
  
• Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
  
• Build a high-performing sales culture focused on accountability and results.
  

3. Channel & Dealer Management

• Expand and strengthen dealer/distributor network across the zone.
  
• Ensure healthy channel relationships, timely payments, and inventory management.
  
• Resolve channel conflicts and provide support for channel growth.
  

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with key clients (builders, contractors, architects, etc.).
  
• Support the sales team in converting key accounts.
  
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  

5. Market Development & Brand Building

• Identify new markets and customer segments for business expansion.
  
• Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns and product launches.
  
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meets.
  

6. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards for senior management.
  
• Monitor KPIs like revenue, volume, profitability, and collection efficiency.
  
• Use CRM and other tools for data-driven decision-making.
  

7. Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with supply chain, logistics, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless operations.
