You should know how to integrate the right footage contextually, with a strong sense of design, pacing, sound design, motion graphics and flow.

Note: You are required to have an existing portfolio and complete a test project (6 to 8 Hours). This is not for beginners

Key Responsibilities

• Editing 8-20 mins taking head long-form videos for YouTube.
• Create engaging hooks for podcasts by identifying the right clips from full episodes and crafting a compelling narrative around them.
• Creating Derivative Shorts for YouTube & Instagram
• Contribute to the Thumbnail concepts of the videos edited
• Track performance and review retention data of your edits
• Collaborate effectively with clients, directors, and other team members to understand their vision and deliver the desired outcome.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven success on YouTube as the editor for a growing channel & a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Deep understanding of the YouTube space – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and sound design
• Strong grasp of design principles: composition, typography, and visual hierarchy that enhance storytelling
• Versatility with multiple video formats (talking head, reactions, podcasts)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change
• Doesn’t get fatigued or ‘burnt out’ when working long hours when it is necessary
• Wants to be a part of something big
• Time management skills, with the ability to work within deadlines to deliver high-quality videos.
