Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the development and implementation of robust security measures across our Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Azure security services, incident response, and compliance frameworks to ensure our cloud environment is resilient against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cybersecurity strategies for Azure-based workloads and environments.
Secure Azure infrastructure using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Firewall.
  • Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments in the Azure ecosystem.
  • Monitor security events and investigate incidents using SIEM and SOAR tools (especially Sentinel).
  • Manage and enforce Azure AD security policies, RBAC, MFA, and Conditional Access.
  • Develop and maintain security baselines, hardening guidelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security templates.
  • Implement data protection, encryption at rest/in transit, and secure key management using Azure Key Vault.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks: NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and compliance teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
  • Create and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks and runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure cloud security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure-native security tools and services.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, network security, and DevSecOps.
  • Experience with security incident response, log analysis, and threat hunting in Azure.
  • Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management in cloud environments.
