Doctors For You is seeking applications for X-Ray Technician/Operator in its TB Projects. We are seeking a committed and skilled X-Ray Technician/Operator to engage with communities, facilitate access to TB services, and advocate for effective TB care and prevention. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging, managing X-Ray records, and supporting field activities as part of the TB Project. This role is crucial for accurate TB diagnosis and tracking, requiring expertise in radiographic techniques, X-ray software, and effective communication with both patients and field staff. The ideal candidate will work from the admin office in the respective district.

Qualifications, skills and Competencies

Bachelors degree B.Sc. Radiology Technician / Diploma in X-Ray Technology. 1-2 years of experience of conducting X-Ray in the field and hospital setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform X-ray procedures for individuals of all age groups, sexes, and vulnerable populations. Apply advanced radiographic techniques to ensure high-quality, diagnostic images. Utilize X-ray reporting software such as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)

for managing and analysing radiographic data. Maintain accurate and organized X-ray records. Submit X-ray reports and records regularly to the Data Manager and District NTEP. Provide support and instructions to patients during the X-ray procedures. Collaborate with District coordinator to prepare micro plans for TB screening and X-ray activities. Perform X-rays for suspects identified during passive case finding at subcenters, PHCs (Primary

Health Centers), and CHCs (Community Health Centers) of the month, following directives from the DTO.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures while performing X-ray procedures. Ensure radiographic practices comply with health and safety standards.

Note: The principal responsibilities listed above are an illustrative list and not an exhaustive list. Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on Project requirements.

Reporting: The X-Ray Technician/Operator will be reporting to the District Coordinator.

Remuneration: The compensation for the aforementioned position(s) will be capped at Rs. 30,000 and will adhere to internal policies and market standards. It will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, budget availability, internal parity, last drawn and interview performance. This position requires exceptional communication, analytical, documentation, interpersonal, and computer skills, as well as a willingness to travel. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience and local candidates who possess the necessary experience and skill sets.
