Wrehouse and logistics Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the warehouse, including the receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and products.
• Oversee stock control, ensuring proper inventory management practices, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper labeling of goods and materials.
• Coordinate and supervise outbound logistics to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to customers or distribution centers.
• Plan and monitor transportation routes and schedules to optimize cost and time efficiency while maintaining compliance with customer requirements.
• Ensure that all warehouse and logistics processes are compliant with IATF 16949 and other industry regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of inventory, shipping records, and compliance reports in line with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring that they understand and adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying training needs and implementing programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.
• Implement inventory management best practices, including stocktaking and cycle counting, to maintain accurate and up-to-date stock levels.
• Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials for production while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop Process & monitor effectively

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in an IATF-certified auto parts manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in team leadership and warehouse optimization.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control systems and logistics software.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of WH Management, inventory control, and logistics operations in an automotive manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and QMS
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with WH Management software (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.

Desirable Skills:

Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or warehouse operations (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, or similar).
