Logistics Executive

1. Inbound Logistics (Raw Material Handling):

Transporting raw materials from suppliers to plant. Coordinating with transporters for timely arrival. Checking quality, quantity, and unloading at receiving points. Maintaining inward material records and gate entries. Managing weighbridge operations. Tracking supplier deliveries and shortages.

2. Outbound Logistics (Dispatch & Delivery):

Planning daily cement dispatch (bagged & bulk). Loading supervision and gate pass generation. Coordinating with transporters & customers for deliveries .Ensuring trucks are loaded as per route plan. Creating dispatch documents . Monitoring truck turnaround time (TAT). Handling customer complaints on delivery issues or shortages.

3. Warehouse & Inventory Management:

Managing warehouse/stockyard/depot operations. Maintaining stock accuracy.

Conducting physical stock verification. Ensuring proper stacking, labeling, and cleanliness. Coordinating with accounts & sales for stock reconciliation. Monitoring packaging material stock (bags, pallets, etc.).

4. Documentation & Compliance:

Preparing & maintaining transport documents: E-way bills Lorry receipts (LR) Gate passes Delivery challans Invoices Ensuring GST compliance, road permit, and transport regulations. Keeping all vehicle, driver, and transporter records updated.

5. Vehicle / Fleet Management :

Scheduling and assigning vehicles for dispatch. Tracking truck movement (GPS). Monitoring fuel usage, driver performance, and maintenance. Managing breakdowns, insurance, and fitness certificates. Minimizing empty returns and maximizing truck utilization.
