Description

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team, ensuring quality control, and optimizing workshop processes. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards in safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and quality of work.
Manage and lead a team of technicians and support staff.
Develop and implement workshop policies and procedures to improve productivity.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
1-7 years of experience in workshop management or a similar role.
Proficient in workshop management software and tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
