Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Workshop Manager to lead and manage the service operations of Tata Motors Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV). The Workshop Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth workshop operations, customer satisfaction, effective manpower utilization, and adherence to Tata Motors’ service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily workshop operations and ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Manage a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Support Staff.
• Allocate jobs, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to repair quality standards.
• Maintain strong focus on customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and ensuring prompt service.
• Ensure availability and proper utilization of tools, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Tata Motors for warranty claims, technical support, and training requirements.
• Monitor workshop KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, revenue, and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
• Control costs and enhance profitability through effective resource management.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, company policies, and OEM guidelines.
• Develop and motivate staff through regular training and performance reviews.

Requirements:

• Graduate / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Automobile Service, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle service operations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to manage workshop KPIs and deliver business targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and DMS/ERP systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: As per industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
