Workflow Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for automation to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent platforms.
• Integrate automation workflows with internal and external APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
• Develop custom scripts or components when out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Node.js).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements, map processes, and ensure alignment with operational needs.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot existing automation workflows to ensure uptime and performance.
• Implement governance, version control, and documentation best practices for all automation solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging workflow automation technologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (2+ years) in workflow automation, RPA, or process automation engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with one or more automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Zapier, Power Automate, Make, n8n).
• Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, REST, and webhooks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience with database queries (SQL / NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in integrating automation with ERP, CRM, or SaaS systems.
• Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless workflows.
• Certification in RPA or workflow automation tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
