Workday Technical Consultant

successful design, configuration, integration, and support

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and understand client business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
• Design, build, configure, test, and support the

  Workday Financial Management system

  .
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from

  requirement gathering to post–go-live support

  .
• Support onsite teams in configuring and testing Workday business processes.
• Create and maintain

  custom reports

  as required.
• Collaborate with the integration team on

  integration design and testing

  .

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
• Functional experience in

  financial ERP systems

  (e.g., Oracle Financials, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP FICO).
• Basic understanding of

  financial accounting

  principles.
• At least

  1 full lifecycle ERP implementation

  experience.
• Willingness to learn and excel in Workday ERP.
• Proficiency in multiple business processes:
• Procure-to-Pay
• Order-to-Cash
• General Ledger
• Fixed Asset Management
• Budgeting
• Grants and Awards
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including

  presentation skills

  (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with sound judgment.
• Understanding of

  cloud-based SaaS and PaaS

  offerings.

Qualifications

• Required:

  Bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred:

  Master’s degree with a financial background.
