The Workday Technical Consultant will be responsible for the successful design, configuration, integration, and support of Workdays Financial Management solution. This role requires a strong understanding of client business needs, ERP processes, and technical integration capabilities. Key Responsibilities Learn and understand client business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions. Design, build, configure, test, and support the Workday Financial Management system . Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirement gathering to post–go-live support . Support onsite teams in configuring and testing Workday business processes. Create and maintain custom reports as required. Collaborate with the integration team on integration design and testing . Required Experience & Skills 3–5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience. Functional experience in financial ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP FICO). Basic understanding of financial accounting principles. At least 1 full lifecycle ERP implementation experience. Willingness to learn and excel in Workday ERP. Proficiency in multiple business processes: Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash General Ledger Fixed Asset Management Budgeting Grants and Awards Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with sound judgment. Understanding of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS offerings. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Master’s degree with a financial background.
