Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Strong knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules like GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement and business process framework.
Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle Workday Finance implementations.
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and business users.
Proficiency in Workday Reporting, security roles, and business process configuration.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure Workday Finance modules accordingly.
Drive and support end-to-end implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements.
Perform hands-on configuration of financial business processes, validations, condition rules, and approvals.
Create and maintain functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
Design and develop custom reports using Workday Report Writer and dashboards for finance stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Workday Financials modules and provide post-go-live support.
Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations between Workday and third-party systems (banks, payroll, tax, etc.)
