Workday Finance Consultant/Workday Techno-Functional Specialist

Summary -

• 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials, including full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Workday certification in one or more Financials modules strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft Financials and strong understanding of its architecture and data model.
• Experience with integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors a plus.
• Experience in data migration strategy and validation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead or support global design workshops to define business process requirements and future-state configuration in Workday Financials.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, IT, HR, Procurement) to gather requirements and ensure alignment with global and regional needs.
• Map existing PeopleSoft financials processes to Workday functionality, identifying gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
• Define global chart of accounts structure, security model, and business process framework within Workday.
• Provide expertise in key Workday Financials modules such as: Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, and Supplier Accounts.
• Collaborate with technical teams on data migration strategy, conversion mappings, and validation from PeopleSoft to Workday.
• Contribute to integration design and testing across Workday and upstream/downstream systems.

Support organizational change initiatives, including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement

Preferred candidate profile
