Job Description


WordPress/Shopify Developer



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and Shopify stores based on design mockups or Figma/PSD files.
  • Create responsive and user-friendly UI/UX across devices and browsers.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and apps/plugins as needed.
  • Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO structure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, issues, and code conflicts.
  • Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver web solutions on time.


Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
  • Strong command over HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Liquid, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with theme customization and plugin/app development.
  • Familiarity with website builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Shopify’s Online Store 2.0.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.



Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of WooCommerce, Shopify Plus, and headless CMS setups.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Figma, Photoshop, or Canva.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools like Google Lighthouse or GTmetrix.
  • Prior work on international or high-traffic eCommerce sites.
