Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. They will have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins. Build responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress. Implement new features and functionalities as per requirements. Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS. Maintenance and Support: Regularly update and maintain WordPress sites. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs. Optimize website performance, including database optimization and page speed improvements. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the timely completion of projects. Communicate project status and updates effectively. Quality Assurance: Conduct website performance tests. Monitor the performance of the live website. Ensure that websites are accessible and optimized for all devices. Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends. Implement best practices in web development and design. Adhere to coding standards and ensure code quality. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required). Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development. Proven experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development. Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with responsive and adaptive design. Skills: Proficient in MySQL, version control (Git), and debugging tools. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap. Good understanding of SEO best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of web performance and security practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with WooCommerce. Familiarity with website optimization tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights). Understanding of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
