Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize pre-built WordPress themes to meet client needs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement front-end elements using WordPress best practices.
• Optimize WordPress sites for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues in a timely manner.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for WordPress websites.
• Ensure the technical SEO and site performance standards are followed.
• Manage and maintain existing WordPress sites, including regular updates, bug fixes, and security patches.
• Test and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress development, web design, and development technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and frameworks (e.g., Genesis, Divi).
• Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with website hosting environments and management (e.g., cPanel, FTP, SFTP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
• Knowledge of website optimization and performance tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix).
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
• Experience with API integrations and third-party services.
• Experience with multisite WordPress networks.
