Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain high-quality websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
• Create and modify custom themes, plugins, and modules as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform wireframes and mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways for seamless functionality.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
• Conduct regular website performance optimization, speed improvements, and security checks.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery with clean, maintainable code.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and security practices in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce development.
• Solid understanding of custom theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
• Knowledge of SEO optimization, performance tuning, and website security.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket).
• Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React.js / Vue.js) for enhanced UI.
• Knowledge of Headless WordPress and REST API integrations.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
