About the Role

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in WordPress customisation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage WordPress websites from concept to completion.
• Create and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities as per project requirements.
• Handle both front-end and back-end development efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues and performance challenges.
• Guide clients on theme and plugin selection and act promptly on feedback.
• Optimize website performance, including speed, caching, and code efficiency.
• Manage website security, backups, and regular updates.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and marketing tools as required.
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure project consistency.
• Maintain proper documentation of development processes, updates, and customizations.
• Stay current with WordPress releases, plugins, and relevant industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proven track record with at least 20 completed WordPress websites.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
