Wordpress Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile WordPress Developer who is also proficient in Shopify and full-stack web development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom themes, integrating third-party APIs, managing payment gateways, and ensuring robust front-end and back-end performance for various projects.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, experienced in both design and development, and comfortable working on varied platforms with a primary focus on WordPress and Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Customize and maintain Shopify stores, including liquid code customizations and theme modifications.
• Implement front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Handle complete back-end development and maintenance, including database management and server-side logic using PHP.
• Integrate and manage payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party tools for data exchange.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Perform regular updates, troubleshooting, and technical support on existing platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugin development, etc.).
• Proficiency in Shopify, especially with Liquid templates and theme customisation.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with API integration and custom functionality development.
• Skilled in cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and web performance.
• Solid understanding of database architecture and server-side development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a UK-based team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
