The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, plugins, themes, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to client requirements Build custom themes and plugins from scratch when needed Expertise in WP Plugin Integration (WooCommerce, WPML, Membership plugins etc). Implement website updates, security patches, and performance optimizations Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness Integrate third-party APIs and services as required Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg Strong knowledge of custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress APIs Familiarity with version control systems like Git Understanding of website performance optimization (caching, CDN, image optimization) Basic knowledge of SEO best practices Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations Experience working with tools like cPanel, FTP, and staging environments Show more Show less
