Role is responsible for defining and validating connectivity ECU for telematics for DICV vehicles. Role requires to coordinate and finalize all the requirement needed by DICV for defining future requirements.

Description

• Proficiency in designing embedded systems, including microcontroller and microprocessor-based designs.
• Understanding of automotive-grade components and standards.
• Skills in integrating various sensors (e.g., GPS, accelerometers, temperature sensors) into connected devices. Understanding of sensor data acquisition and processing.
• Skills in integrating various ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and ensuring seamless communication.
• Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, and V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything). Experience with antenna and RF testing.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, CoAP) and their implementation.
• Experience with cloud connectivity and IoT protocols.
• Knowledge of software integration, including middleware and API development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices specific to automotive applications.
• Experience with secure boot, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Understanding of automotive functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
• Experience with safety-critical systems design and validation.
• Skills in developing and executing test plans for both hardware and software.
• Experience with tools for automated testing, unit testing, and system validation.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and certification processes for automotive devices.
• Experience in ensuring devices meet industry standards such as FCC, CE, and automotive-specific standards.
• Knowledge of diagnostics protocols like UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with secure communication protocols, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with system-level debugging and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of automotive hardware components and their interfaces. Familiarity with microcontrollers and automotive-grade processors.
• Experience in all stages of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and maintenance.
• Skills in developing and executing test plans.
• Experience with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and other testing and validation tools.
• Skills in handling and processing large volumes of data generated by connected vehicles.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, and MQTT.
• Experience with secure and reliable data transmission between vehicles and cloud infrastructure.
• Conception, identification and piloting of new methods, tools and processes for technology and product development through industry benchmarking and evaluation
• Deepen Practice with PoC/ PoV, Whitepaper and Business case doc on growth and sustenance of new verticals. Assist in preparation of Board /Opcom presentation documents for relevant approvals.
• Strategic visioning Assist in evaluation of proposals, technologies, creation of product roadmap aligned to Business vision, chalking out strategy for momentum and bending the curve.

Qualifications

• BE/ME with Minimum 3 years of experience & Knowledge of Electronics, Networking and Programming
• Knowledge of the automotive market and industry-wide best practices. Relevant experience in the automotive industry, particularly in roles related to connected vehicle solutions.
• Certifications in automotive systems or embedded systems design.
• Excellent communication skills to convey design ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve design goals.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to work with a varying level of ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; proven ability to think strategically.
