Wiring Technician

As a skilled Residential Electrical Wiring Technician, your role will involve installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring systems in homes. You will work on various projects such as new construction, renovations, and service calls. It is essential for you to have a strong understanding of residential electrical codes, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting in residential buildings. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in homes, including faulty wiring, short circuits, and power outages. - Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment. - Install and connect main service panels, sub-panels, grounding systems, and breakers. - Perform safety checks and testing using meters, testers, and other tools. - Provide clear communication to homeowners or contractors about issues and solutions. - Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
