Wholesale Underwriting Real Estate Assistant Vice President

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis of Commercial Real Estate properties, developing and maintaining complex financial models specific to various CRE asset types, preparing credit approval request memorandums, conducting projection modeling, and supporting Senior Underwriters in making recommendations/credit decisions. You will also oversee periodic relationship credit monitoring, proactively identify early warning signs of credit deterioration, review and validate financial spreads and reports, and ensure all transactions are in compliance with regulatory and Citi guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of Commercial Real Estate properties - Develop and maintain complex financial models specific to various CRE asset types - Prepare credit approval request memorandums - Conduct projection modeling and stress testing - Support Senior Underwriters in making recommendations/credit decisions - Oversee periodic relationship credit monitoring - Proactively identify early warning signs of credit deterioration - Review and validate financial spreads and reports - Ensure compliance with regulatory and Citi guidelines Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of relevant experience - Previous experience in Commercial Real Estate underwriting or credit - Strong financial modeling experience in Microsoft Excel - Ability to apply credit and risk principles towards business goals - Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Effective interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills - MBA or CFA or CA (Note: This is a summary description based on the provided job description),
