Job Description

Laravel Backend Developer


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using

    Laravel

    (latest versions).
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate external APIs/services.
  • Optimize application performance, database queries, and caching strategies.
  • Manage and structure MySQL databases (migrations, indexing, relationships).
  • Implement authentication, role-based access, and secure data handling.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow best practices (SOLID, OOP).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Work in agile sprints, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide accurate task estimates.


Required Skills & Experience


  • Strong experience with

    Laravel Framework

    (Laravel 8/9/10+).
  • Solid understanding of

    PHP 7/8

    , OOP, and MVC architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with

    MySQL

    or

    PostgreSQL

    .
  • Experience creating

    REST APIs

    , API authentication (JWT/Passport/Sanctum).
  • Knowledge of queues (Redis, Horizon), job scheduling, and caching.
  • Familiar with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket workflows.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
