Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welding Supervisor with 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication . The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, hands-on welding skills (MIG, ARC, and COT), and a thorough understanding of manpower management and production supervision. A welding certification is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day welding operations on the shop floor. Lead and manage a team of welders and fabrication staff. Allocate manpower effectively based on project needs and priorities. Perform hands-on welding as needed using MIG, ARC, and COT processes. Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication blueprints . Ensure proper ring placement in welding operations and maintain weld quality. Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication-related issues. Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Train and mentor junior welders and ensure skill development. Monitor welding parameters and adjust processes for optimal results. Collaborate with engineers and production planners for workflow improvement. Maintain production schedules and report progress to management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3 to 10 years of experience in welding supervision within a sheet metal fabrication environment . Proven expertise in MIG, ARC, and COT welding techniques . Welding Certification (Preferred). Strong knowledge of welding standards , materials , and fabrication processes. Experience in manpower handling , including task allocation and performance supervision. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents . Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
