Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Junior Website Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is a full-time position suited for candidates with 1 to 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with design and product teams to develop visually engaging and functional websites, contributing directly to the growth of EdisonOS and TeachEdison's mission in the education technology space.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proficient experience with Webflow (Mandatory skill) in designing and developing standard-compliant, visually compelling websites that seamlessly adapt to teaching platforms.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Responsive Design (Mandatory skill) to deliver optimal experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Skilled in using Figma (Mandatory skill) for interface design, prototyping, and collaborating with designers and stakeholders to bring concepts to life.
- Solid hands-on experience in CSS3, writing modular, maintainable, and efficient styles tailored for education-based platforms and products.
- Proficient in HTML5, capable of developing semantic, accessible, and SEO-friendly markup tailored for fast and high-performance websites.
- Expertise with Bootstrap to rapidly develop and prototype responsive user interfaces, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Demonstrated proficiency in UI/UX Design principles, creating user-friendly and engaging experiences for educator-focused software applications.
- Experience working with Tailwind CSS to build customized, visually consistent website components optimized for high-volume educational traffic.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to transform ideas into well-functioning and visually rich websites aligned with EdisonOS objectives.
- Develop, test, and maintain websites using Webflow, ensuring responsive layouts and best-in-class performance.
- Convert Figma designs into interactive web pages with precise adherence to UI/UX specifications and user requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML5, CSS3, and industry-standard frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS.
- Implement and optimize responsive design for seamless user experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure compatibility and integration of front-end development with back-end systems as needed.
- Participate in regular code reviews, contribute ideas for continuous improvement, and stay updated with the latest web development trends and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to maintain high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility of all TeachEdison web assets.
