Position: Web Developer
Company: National Institute of Home Tutors
Location: Barasat, Duckbunglow More, Kolkata
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Job Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and creative web developer to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain our websites and web applications to ensure a smooth user experience and strong online presence for our institute. The candidate will work closely with the operations and marketing teams to implement new features and enhance existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Integrate APIs and third-party tools as required
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
• Keep up to date with emerging web technologies and best practices

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with backend technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python (Django/Flask)
• Knowledge of databases like MySQL or MongoDB
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication skills in Bengali or Hindi (English proficiency preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
