Vanalok is seeking a creative and skilled Web Developer & Digital Content Executive to design, develop, and maintain our website and digital platforms. The role involves creating responsive and visually engaging websites, developing App, managing content, optimizing SEO, and ensuring high performance across devices. Key Skills: Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of proven experience in web and app development, coding and content management. Strong working knowledge of Coding, WordPress, Wix, or similar CMS platforms. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive design frameworks. Practical knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMrush, etc.). Experience managing conference or organizational websites, including registration systems, schedules, and live updates. Understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and data-driven website improvements. Basic graphic design and layout experience (Canva, Adobe XD, or Figma). Key Responsibilities: Develop, redesign, and maintain a modern, responsive website reflecting the organization’s mission and initiatives. Build functional and visually appealing web pages for events, international conferences, and projects. Design and build responsive, mobile-friendly websites and applications optimized for different devices and browsers. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript. Implement and maintain website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal. Manage hosting, domain, backups, and overall website security. Create and manage databases required for website functionality. Ensure website accessibility, security, and compliance with data privacy standards. Regularly update content, visuals, event pages, and project information. Collaborate with communications and project teams to upload project reports, news, media, and publications. Integrate blogs, videos, social media feeds, and event registration forms. Plan and execute SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and ranking. Conduct keyword research and optimize metadata, content, and structure for search engines. Monitor analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console) and generate performance reports. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal website performance and uptime. Stay up to date with the latest web technologies, trends, and industry standards. Test new and existing website components, resolving issues and improving user experience. Maintain brand consistency, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility across all web pages. Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the organization or the Director, as required for the effective functioning of projects and operations..
