As a Finance Reporting Analyst 2 at Citi, your role will involve generating, reviewing, and escalating reconciliation exceptions in coordination with the Finance controller Team. Your main responsibility will be to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports, and statements in accordance with Citi policies. Key Responsibilities: - Implement reconciliation procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) R1 deliverables of Strategic Ledger reconciliation processes. - Perform regular reconciliation, exceptions monitoring, and investigate discrepancies between different ledger systems. - Analyze breaks, identify trends and anomalies in ledger data, and escalate as needed. - Collaborate with Technology and other Finance teams to ensure timely resolution of breaks. - Contribute to new strategic initiatives of the Firm. - Maintain strong R&C ethic in the team and act as a maker/checker for exception monitoring activities. - Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new team members. - Escalate problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures. Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry preferred. - Working knowledge of Oracle Ledger reconciliation is a plus. - Technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills to create effective desktop procedures. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
