The L1 Security SMEs will be on-premises and supporting operation, management and maintain the in-scope devices.
Act as the first point of contact for users.
Log incidents and issues reported by users via phone, email, or chat.
Categorize and prioritize incidents based on urgency and impact.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
Provide solutions for common problems such as password resets, application access issues, and basic configuration errors. First time fix, update KEDB
Escalate complex issues to L2 support when necessary.
Ensure proper documentation and communication of the issue to the next level.
Monitor application and system performance using various tools.
Report any anomalies or performance issues.
Communicate effectively with users to understand their issues and provide timely updates.
Respond to and resolve user inquiries related to hardware, software, and network issues.
Provide assistance through various channels such as phone, email, and chat.
Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Monitor SLA compliance and escalate issues that may breach SLAs.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Provide necessary documentation and evidence as requested by auditors.
Implement remediation actions for any observations or findings from audits.
Document common issues and solutions in a knowledge base for future reference.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and processes.
Assist in executing disaster recovery plans during incidents.
Coordinate with vendors for basic support and warranty claims.
Monitor resource usage and report any capacity issues.
Handle and fulfil standard service requests such as software installations and access requests.
Maintain accurate records of hardware and software configurations.
Communicate effectively with users and other IT teams.
